Message Praise the Lord may these next few minutes bring you some joy, as I share a few,
Thoughts For Strength.
WHEN FIGHTING BACK:
When fighting, our first reactions are to defend our beliefs and ourselves.
The idea of turning the other cheek is nowhere to be found in our thoughts.
Peter pulled out his sword. Off came the soldier's ear.
Jesus replied you don't know from what spirit you are, stopping him.
I wonder what went through Peter's mind when the Lord rebuked him.
From what spirit am I? Am I evil? Do I have a devil? Even though our Lord Jesus stood right next to him, he still did this.
He just wanted to defend Jesus.
Our actions show what we are.
When we fight we should fight with all the armor of God.
We must be sensitive to his calling for He talks to us in all things.
Jesus has taught us many times that everything is not what it seems.
Jesus has also rebuked me.
Many times I have pulled my sword ready to hack off some ears.
I fought with lots of angry words attempting to defend my belief and myself.
One night I pulled my sword ready to defend.
This made everyone that was present uneasy so instead I said nothing.
The next morning I talked with the person I was an adversary against.
The thoughts of what this guy had said the night before stood in my mind.
Suddenly he got this pain in his leg and by his expression I could tell it was intense.
He had tried to describe what he was going through at that moment.
I listened but didn't think much of it. I still hadn't put my sword away.
You see he had asked me to show him God.
He wanted me to prove it to him.
To show how I know that He is real. I had tried but it wasn't the answer he was looking for.
On the way home Jesus spoke to me.
I am glad he has given me ears to hear.
He told me gently to listen. I sent a pain in this man's leg as a lesson.
You can describe me and tell of me.
Say you believe in me, but he will never feel me the way you do.
Until like the pain in his leg, he experiences me.
"Why didn't I hear you last night?" I thought, Jesus said I'm teaching you not for his understanding, but for yours.
By your actions they will see me and understand. Now I understand. I can pull the sword out.
I just need to leave the anger locked away.
Thank you my Lord Jesus.
All Praise and Glory belong to you.
Testimony of Prayer:
Prayer seems like it should be easy, and yet I know it can be one of the hardest things to do.
Let me share this thought with you.
Someone was praying for me, and for a long time.
The Lord only knows where I would be, If they had given up.
That is why I pray, that you never give up as well.
For that blessing, might be just one prayer away.
Our Lord Jesus sent me strength, when I needed it the most.
So I know this for sure, He will be there for you also.
He knows what you need before you ask, He is always on time.
Thank's for all your prayer's, I pray God send you strength also.
This I pray, In the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
